School is Cool

Designed by Nancy Mink for Wilmington Prints, School is Cool captures everything that comes to mind when you think of the classroom — pencils, crayons, math supplies, letters, numbers, and even a print of apples for the teacher's desk. It's a playful, nostalgic collection built for celebrating the start of a new school year, whether you're making something for a student, a classroom, or a favorite teacher.

The coordinating panel makes it easy to whip up quick classroom decor or a quilt top with minimal piecing — just add borders and you're done. Mix in the smaller prints for pencil pouches, book bags, or a keepsake quilt for a graduating student or retiring teacher. It's especially sweet as an end-of-year gift: stitch the panel into a small throw, or let students sign a plain block with fabric pens for a memento the teacher will treasure.
