Cuddle Xtra Wide-Silver. Get your hands on some of this Super-Soft fabric known as Cuddle or Minkee. Cuddle/Minkee fabric is 100% Polyester, which makes this an ideal fabric that will get lots of wear, as it is more stain resistant than other fibers. It is also extremely washable, as the Polyester makes the fabric very durable. Don't be fooled by imitators, the Cuddle/Minkee fabrics that we stock will not pill, and will not shed. Initial shedding happens only along cut lines, as the fibers are cut, but since this fabric is a knit fabric, it will not continue to travel away. If the minkee dust bothers you, try throwing the cut fabric in the dryer to help get rid of the extra cut fibers prior to sewing. Recommended to use a walking foot when sewing Minkee/Cuddle, as this eliminates the fabric from "walking" away while sewing.
