Stitch Summit brings together some of the most talented, passionate, and knowledgeable educators in the sewing and quilting world. Each presenter is carefully selected to bring you a hands-on, skill-building experience you won't find anywhere else.
Connie Fanders
A lifelong sewing industry professional with decades of BERNINA experience, Connie has served as a BERNINA Dealer and held leadership roles at BERNINA of America, including Director of Education and Training and Manager of BERNINA Embroidery Products. A member of the BERNINA 990 development and testing team, Connie now travels nationwide sharing her expertise in sewing, quilting, embroidery, and maximizing the potential of BERNINA machines.
Nina McVeigh
A renowned BERNINA Educator, designer, and quilting expert, Nina brings years of experience inspiring sewists through classes, creative projects, and educational programs. Known for her passion for teaching and precision quilting techniques, Nina helps makers build confidence and expand their creative skills.
Gail Yellen
An accomplished designer, author, and educator, Gail is known for her innovative approach to sewing, quilting, and wearable art. With a passion for creative techniques and beautiful details, Gail inspires sewists to explore new possibilities and bring their ideas to life.
Lane Hunter
A Portland, Oregon-based artist, educator, and BERNINA Longarm Specialist, Lane is known for his imaginative approach to quilting and textile design. Specializing in free-motion quilting, ruler work, and BERNINA Q-matic automation, Lane helps sewists discover new ways to create with confidence and creativity.
Carrie Agans
A leader on the BERNINA Training Team, Carrie loves to learn and share what she learns with others. Carrie is foremost a quilter. She finds joy in sharing ideas and techniques with customers that spark creativity, especially when they lead to finding the machine that is a perfect fit. She loves the opportunity to teach quilting, embroidery and software classes.
Annette Johnson
Annette’s passion for sewing began as a child watching her grandmother sew. Today, Annette brings her love of BERNINA machines and sewing to the classroom with a patient, gentle teaching style. She enjoys helping students discover their creative potential, build confidence, and bring their ideas to life.
