Product to be exchanged must include a copy of the receipt, your e-mail address, shipping address and phone number. Exchanges can be made for equal-valued product immediately or may be issued as store credit for future use.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept exchanges on sale items or gift cards.
Products may be returned for a refund within 30 days of original purchase, provided they are unopened and in "like-new" condition. This policy excludes fabric yardage. Any shipping on returns will be at the expense of the buyer. The returned goods must include a copy of the receipt, your e-mail address, shipping address and phone number. Credits for returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method (minus the original shipping cost). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.
Even though most of our products are not susceptible to damage during the shipping process, if you receive damaged items, we will replace them. Please contact us immediately at Orders@InspiredtoSew.com to begin the return/replacement process. Buyer will ship them to Inspired to Sew along with a description of the damage and will be reimbursed for the shipping costs. An identical (where available) replacement item will be sent to the buyer at no additional cost. Unfortunately, with fabric, sometimes the item will no longer be available, in which case we will do our best to replace it with a similar item. As stated above, all returns must include the original receipt, your e-mail address, shipping address and phone number.

In the case that you must cancel your class or event registration, refunds will be provided when cancelling more than one week ahead of start time. Any classes or events cancelled within a one-week window of the start time will not result in a refund. For classes and events featuring guest teachers, cancellations and refunds are not available due to the fees incurred for the special event. National speaker events carry non-transferrable registration. We offer these programs to give you great value in your sewing education.
Our intent is to run all classes unless the Iowa State Patrol has recommended against travel due to inclement weather.
Registration is for the individual only: no companions, children, or pets. Beverages with closed lids are permissible in the classroom. Please notate your machine request. Classroom machines have limited availability and will be fulfilled in the order received.
Sewing retreats hosted at Shalom Retreat Center are eligible for the following refund schedule based on advance notice provided.
90% Refund available 75+ Days in advance of arrival date of Retreat
75% Refund available 60-74 Days in advance of arrival date of Retreat
50% Refund available 30-59 Days in advance of arrival date of Retreat
30% Refund available 15-29 Days in advance of arrival date of Retreat
No refunds will be issued with less than 14 calendar days notice
