Quilt Size: 40"x41" All quilts created for Stitches for Hope are part of quilts that are on display in our store, Inspired to Sew in Cedar Rapids,IA. Fabric and batting are all 100% cotton and are made by artisans in Iowa who are employees of the business. Their employment with Inspired to Sew is fully compensated and their work is not donated. In turn Inspired to Sew provides these quilts and projects for sale and funds are then donated to non-profit charities.
CARE OF QUILTS: Quilts should not have long exposure in direct sunlight to extend the life of the quilt. Should the quilt need to be washed, we recommend using Quilt Soap (a product we carry in our store). Do not use standard household detergents as most contain phosphorus and stain guard products that will diminish the vibrancy and color in your quilt. Only wash in COLD water and we recommend that you then lay out on a sheet on a floor to dry. Your quilt can be ironed on a low steam to restore the shape and blocking of the quilt.
