Are you ready to start quilting? This class is designed with you in mind! Discover quilting basics, along with the tips and techniques that will turn your quilting dreams into a completed project. Our classes are set up so that students can come to each class and pick up right where they need to be in the class. Trust us...this works beautifully to help everyone be most confident in piecing all the way through to binding quilts.

Over the weeks, we will cover precise piecing of blocks, stitching the quilt top together, basting the quilt, quilting, and binding. Start your quilting education with our start quilting class right here in Cedar Rapids. This class is suitable for the beginning quilter, as well as quilters who want to brush up on their skills to learn the best techniques for accurate cutting and piecing. You MUST register for class to attend. Best to register with us online: we like to make sure we have sufficient space and supplies for all attendees. Registration for Start Quilting includes the opportunity to use an Inspired to Sew classroom machine. Please request the use of a machine at time of registration.
